Database

Everything except the mail itself lives in one SQLite file: accounts, signatures, mailbox settings and the sent log. Mail stays on your mail server.

Backups

Taken automatically at start-up and every six hours, and only ever from a database that has passed its check. The most recent twelve are kept. Download one to keep it somewhere else — that is the copy that survives losing the server.

To put one back: set RESTORE_BACKUP to its filename (or latest) in the hosting panel and restart. The database in place is moved aside, never deleted. Clear the setting once you have checked the result.

AI access tokens
